The theme of the meeting will be: ”The Fraternitya way of reconciliation and peace”.

From the blood brotherhood, a founding experience, to the “universal” brotherhood, Brother Karl has desired and tried to live the fraternal life throughout his life. In the Bible, the first story of brothers is that of Cain, who kills his brother Abel. And then that of Joseph, whom his brothers want to kill… More than just being a brother, it’s about becoming one (that’s the idea of a path)

Fraternity is perhaps the first, if not the greatest challenge of our lives, in Europe and on other continents, in view of the war situations we are experiencing today and the increasing isolation and rejection of the other. In order to live the reconciliation between brother/sister, we are invited to first walk a path of peace and reconciliation with ourselves. And we will ask ourselves whether we are able to reconcile ourselves with the whole of creation.

The week begins on Monday 11 August with a reception from 5 pm and an aperitif at 6 pm. It ends on Monday 18th morning after breakfast. Each day begins and ends with a time of prayer. In the morning, a talk of about an hour introduces the theme of the day, followed by a time of sharing in small groups and in the afternoon either workshops or free visits
